Sorbonne/Virtual Paris, Project Specialist/Research Consultant.
Collaborated with Professors Liliane Gallet-Blanchard and
Marie-Madeleine Martinet, Co-directors of the Cultures Anglophones et
Technologies de l'Information (CATI) Research Center, Sorbonne
University IV, University of Paris and doctoral candidate Sylvana
Ah-laye. The project was an outgrowth of the renowned Virtual Harlem Project and
was a multi-university, bi-lingual collaboration in documenting the
life of Jazz Age Paris, particularly focused on Sorbonne graduate,
Anna Cooper. Members of the Sorbonne research team were missing vital
pieces of Cooper's story and had no supporting documentation (the
Sorbonne did not have a copy of Cooper's dissertation nor were
Cooper's graduate documents available). With my own doctoral
research and subsequent visits to the Moorland-Spingarn archives, I
filled in gaps and contributed to a cross-continental,
interdisciplinary collaborative research project.Paris, France; Washington D.C.
